Timehop
Timehop_User Experience & Visual Design
Timehop is a time capsule of you. It's also an app for iOS and Android devices. Every morning you wake up with a fresh Timehop feed consisting of old photos and posts from Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, and your camera roll. Users can then share these past memories on any of their social channels.
The following is a collection of work created during my time as a freelance designer at Timehop. My specific role on these projects was user experience & visual designer.
Share Experience Redesign
The redesigned share experience offers a clean interface with a much larger thumbnail of the content, and an area that uses a smaller font size which creates plenty of room for including a personal message.
Redesigned Shared Content Look and Feel
The shared content template was redesigned to provide a strong and consistent sense of the Timehop brand across various social media platforms.
Delete A Timehop Memory
“AAAHHH! Woke up this morning and found my ex all over my #Timehop. DELETE!!!” —Timehop User
Inspired by user feedback, the product team created a system that provided users the ability to delete three memories for free, and an an opportunity to purchase more deletions at a later time. We then wire framed the experience and created a prototype for testing.
Instagram Comments and Likes In Your Timehop Feed
An early wire frame (shown below) demonstrates how the Timehop interface would change in order to facilitate the functionality to incorporate comments and likes.
